The Pre-Pottery Neolithic settlement of Gre Fılla and the Late Neolithic-Early Chalcolithic settlement of Kendale Hecala, located on the northern border of the Upper Tigris Region, bear witness to a five-thousandyear process of transformation from settled huntergatherer communities to farmer communities. In this book, following the examination of artefacts recovered at both mounds in a chronological order, the symbolic world that changed and transformed throughout this process is assessed.
