Our New Book
This book brings together the material remains discovered during archaeological surveys conducted between 2011 and 2015 in the Fatsa district of Ordu, a district of the Eastern Black Sea Region, which holds a significant place in Anatolia's rich historical and cultural landscape. With its natural beauty encompassing blue and green, it contains data that will contribute to the region's cultural heritage. While it is crucial that fieldwork uncovers material that extends the region's chronology back to the Paleolithic Period, the archaeological fabric discovered during surveys conducted throughout the district bears witness to the region's settlement history from the Hellenistic to the Ottoman period. We hope it will contribute to Anatolian archaeology, particularly in the context of Black Sea studies.
